Why should I nominate?
– OK Norrbotten is a member-owned cooperative, and our members are the most important part of our organization. By nominating candidates for positions of trust, you help influence who will represent you and the other members of OK Norrbotten.
Which positions can I nominate for?
– Owner representative
– Nomination committee for owner representatives
– Board of directors
– Nomination committee for the general meeting
When can I nominate?
– Nominations for owner representatives are open from 1–30 November 2024. Nominations for the nomination committee for owner representatives are open from 1 December 2024 to 14 January 2025. Nominations for the board and the general meeting’s nomination committee are open from 1 December 2024 to 14 January 2025.
Who can I nominate?
– You may nominate any member. The nominee should be someone you know has the best interests of the association and its members at heart and wants to develop our operations in a positive way. Remember that the person you nominate must have been informed and agreed.
Where can I nominate?
– To nominate, you need a computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
Can I nominate myself?
– Yes, you may nominate yourself for all positions of trust. However, you may not hold more than one position of trust at the same time.
Why can’t I nominate?
1. You have an additional card linked to someone else’s membership.
2. You entered your date of birth instead of your personal identity number.
3. You became a member less than two weeks before the current nomination period.
What happens to my nomination?
– The process varies depending on which position of trust you have nominated for. You can read more about this at spikab.webbdesignern.se/.
What is required to be able to nominate?
– To nominate, you must be a member of OK Norrbotten. You then submit your nomination or vote via our website val.oknorrbotten.se and identify yourself using BankID or your membership number.

During which period does the election take place?
– The voting period for owner representatives runs from 1–21 March 2025.
Who is allowed to vote?
– You must be a member of OK Norrbotten. If you have an additional card linked to someone else’s membership, you cannot vote.
Why can’t I vote?
1. You have an additional card linked to someone else’s membership.
2. You entered your date of birth instead of your personal identity number.
3. You became a member after 22 October 2024 and therefore cannot vote on the election platform.
Why should I vote?
– OK Norrbotten is member-owned, and our members are our most important asset. By voting in the election, you choose who will become owner representatives and represent you and our other 120,000 members. Owner representatives vote at the general meeting, where they elect the board, decide on patronage refund levels, motions, and other fundamental matters. Together, we can develop Norrbotten.
Where can I vote?
– You can vote at val.oknorrbotten.se using your computer, tablet, or mobile phone. There is also the option to vote at your station.
How many candidates can I vote for?
– You may vote for one candidate.
What happens if candidates receive the same number of votes?
– If two candidates receive the same number of votes, the result is decided by drawing lots.
Can I propose someone other than the listed candidates?
– No. Once the nomination period has ended, it is not possible to propose new candidates.
How many times can I vote?
– Each member has one vote and may vote once.
Can I change my vote after voting?
– No. Once you have cast your vote, it cannot be changed. You may only vote once.
How do I know that my vote has been registered?
– After voting, the message “Thank you for your vote” will appear on the screen. If you do not see this message, you have not clicked the vote button.
Can I vote for any candidate/station I want?
– Yes, you choose which candidate/station to vote for, but you only have one vote.
What happens after the election?
– The votes are counted once the election has ended and are then published at www.oknorrbotten.se.
